There are all sorts of weird people out there that just love taking advantage of kids over the internet. The web has so much potential that the younger generations are hooked on it, but there are also many, many ways they can get hurt online as well. It never hurts to double check something where our children are concerned.

It’s not like there is a directory or book where you can look the information up like phone numbers. Some search tools might be free (like the ones on the social networks) and others will cost you a small fee. It all depends on which one will actually work. Social networks only keep a list of their users, so if they aren’t there they won’t have the information for you to even look up.
