Dominican Republic is reputed to be the second most popular destinations for spring breakers around the world. It is also one of the best destinations in Latin America and is the main destination in the Caribbean zone. Not only Dominican Republic offered an alternative way for students to spend their spring break vacation without spending a fortune but this place offers a lot of water-related activities and adventure-packed activities. Not to mention that the night life in this place is bursting with life. Their resorts and hotels were offering a lot of entertainment promotions to keep the coeds and spring breakers busy till dawn. Dominican Republic is one of those places where a lot of coeds and spring breakers could be found. It is definitely an excellent place to meet new friends. Thus, if you want constant partying while staying in an exotic island, without spending a fortune on your wallet, then spending your spring break in Dominican Republic is a place worth visiting.

In Dominican Republic, there are two excellent places or destination where you could spend your spring break. First is the top popular destination of the region – Punta Cana. Punta Cana is an incredible and marvelous place located in the eastern zone of the country. Like most popular destinations, this place is crowded with hotels and resorts. All of them located near or along the shores of white-sand beaches. These places were offering a lot of activities to keep their guests not only busy and occupied but also enjoying the full potential that their exotic land has to offer. Since these resorts and hotels were near the beach, they are packed of water-related activities where a lot of college students would definitely enjoy. They also have adventure-packed activities offered to their adventurous guests. These activities range from jungle excursions, buggy rides, safari excursions, mountain biking, hiking, caving and etc.

The second destination not to be missed in Dominican Republic is Puerto Plata. This tourist destination is located in the northern side of the country, facing the Atlantic Coast. Because of its geographical location, they have an excellent place here where you could do windsurfing. It is just outside the city, in Cabarete. On the other hand, Costambar is a haven for scuba divers. The same with Punta Cana, Puerta Plata is full of hotels and resorts offering excellent services to their guests and to spring breakers.

So either way, whether you want to go to Puerto Plata or Punta Cana, both places are indeed a fine way of spending your spring break in Dominican Republic.
