There are a ton of movies available at the iTunes but they are expensive. The cost effective solution is to convert your DVDs or movies that you have on your computer and transfer the avi file to your iPhone.

Here’s all you need to do.

1. Get a decent video converter, there are plenty of free ones but these lack features and often carry spyware do its best to spend a little and protect your PC. Now pop in the DVD that you want on your iPhone or point the converter to the divx, xvid or avi file on your computer.

2. You will see some options now (on a quality converter anyway), so choose the highest frame rate, highest bitrate for the sound and set it to convert the movie to mpeg 4. Now go to the options and tell the video converter to put the finished movies on your desktop. Press convert and wait.

3. When finished simply drag the file into iTunes and it will automatically be put into the videos section. Now sync your iPhone and you have a quality movie to watch at anytime. If you got the settings right then the picture and sound will be exceptional, better than your tv in fact.
