The Giant’s Causeway – If you are more of a history lover then do not forget to visit The Giant’s Causeway. It is located in North Ireland and is one of the best World’s Heritage Sites. The volcanic eruptions formulated some 40, 000 intertwining basalt lines in the area. The site derives its name from Finn MacCool.

Portmeirion – Located on the North Wales Coast and designed and erected by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975, the Portmeirion is a must visit site of UK. It comprises of hotel, restaurant, teashop and holiday cottages, which ensure a peaceful sojourn for you. You will love to explore the beautiful location of TV series of The Prisoner and the home to Portmeirion Pottery.

Edinburgh – is predominated by the Edinburgh Castle. If you are culture freak then this city is for you. The mosaic of galleries and arrays of museums make it a haven for biggest arts fests in the UK.

York Minister – nestles one of the most attractive cathedrals of the UK. Located in York of Northern England, it is considered the biggest Gothic Cathedral situated in north Europe. It took a long time to make the present premises as the construction started in 1230 and culminated in 1472.

Tresco Abbey Gardens – are a matter of excitement for botanists and tourists. Various botanical experiments are carried out here. Located in the Scilly Isles, it is home to spices of eighty countries including Brazil, New Zealand, Burma and South Africa.

The Birthplace of Shakespeare – is one of the most interesting sites to see in the UK. Stratford-upon-Avon is a peaceful country town with a signature style of English. The must see places here are The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Nash House, High Street and The Bancroft Gardens here.
