Getting a free iPad is not as difficult as most people think. All you need is the right connection, a certain amount of luck, and a knack for giving detailed observations. Sounds bogus?

It is real alright. You see, there are lots of big companies that pay a considerable amount of money for research and development and every once in a while these companies conduct extensive surveys about their products and/or services. They do this in order to find out if people are still generally happy with what they offer or if it is time for the company to make some improvements on their existing line of products. As a form of motivation (to ensure that they get a hold of genuine information from the public), they offer serious rewards for those who are willing to go through and answer their surveys – rewards such as a free iPad. Pretty convenient, don’t you think?

Not quite. These companies do not just simply hand out free gadgets or rewards to anybody who asks or volunteers. Usually these rewards are limited in number and are reserved either for people they know or for known critiques (people who make a living providing informative analysis), hence the knack for giving extensive information. This is also the reason why a lot of the famous critiques regularly receive free iPad and other gadgets to review. They provide the manufacturers with vital information that the company can use for updates and upgrades. The question is, are you a famous critique?

If you are not and you do not know anybody from any major company, then do not lose hope yet. Every once in a while these companies do give surveys to people randomly. As unlikely as it seems, they sometimes do approach and just ask likely customers (complete strangers and all) to take the survey and give them the reward, so if you are lucky enough, you can still get yourself a free iPad.
