The New Garmin GPSMAP 62 Series Review – Takes Rugged Hi-Tech Navigation to a Whole New Level
Here are 5 great reasons why having a guide for driving in Europe is an invaluable tool for any euro driver to have at hand.
1. A Continental flavour: the difference is in the country!
If you’re going to be driving in Europe this summer or if you run a fleet of international vehicles then a guide giving a list of countries or a map of Europe is ideal. This is great when selecting a country will show a page of information for each country.
2. There are cones and then there are zones…
Imagine! With a euro guide you could see a list of countries with a congestion zone – which means 2 in London. But did you know that they exist in beautiful Milan, Malta and Stockholm? Yes, they do! In each country, if you have a travel guide to help, you could see the zone and your location drawn on a map and get more information about the zone such as history, times of operation.
3. All this Euro driving can take its toll…
Now, if you had a useful guide with you, great! A list of countries with toll roads would be ideal. So if, by clicking on the country, you could see more information about the tolls in that particular country, wouldn’t you want to take a driving guide with you? I’d say, go for it!
4. Time to get real: you’re on location
If you drive with a great euro guide with you on the way, you could see your location on a map in real time, big time! A great reason to go get a guide for travelling in europe would be if you could save this location so you could view historical locations on a website – hey, that includes activity reports and tracks. How real is that!
5. For the love of freedom
Rules, regulations, more rules and oh, fines when we don’t understand them! Well, when you know how different rules applicable to different countries work, it’s great; you just follow them.
So relax. My advice is to arm yourself with a guide, know where congestion zones and tolls are and drive with a greater sense of freedom: so equip yourself with a great driving guide and get moving!
