Many computer users decided not to install the antivirus software in their PC. This is because they don’t understand how important it is for their computer. If you think that antivirus is not important, then you must read through the following reasons why you must install it.

  1. Reason 1: Identity Theft. Not every virus is harmful to your PC. Some of them designed to stay inside your PC so that it can keep track every activity you do. They just keep their profile low so that you won’t recognize it. All they want is to record down your important personal information for accessing any online banking account or important web site. This is one of the common ways that identity theft is using to collect users’ information data.
  2. Reason 2: Loss of data. In most cases, a PC is not important. It just a combination of hardware that do not have any meaning. What is really important is the data and software insides it. There are kinds of viruses that can attack your PC by infecting your data file so that you can not open it anymore. It is really pain to see the loss of important data.
  3. Reason 3: Slow computer. One of the common syndromes of an infected computer is slow system. Many virus especially spyware can use up all the resources and processing speed of your PC until it is slow and unusable. I saw a computer which is infected by spyware can take up to 20 minutes just to start up.

Antivirus software is the main defense system against any online or offline problems. It helps you to scan and protect your PC from being infected by viruses and spywares. You can not ignore this system.
