The Alpine 114Bti is a well specified CD head unit. It plays normal retail CD’s as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs you can use to make your own play lists. The radio has an auto tuner picking up, FM, medium wave long wave with radio text, it also has the ta function for traffic updates.

The main appeal of this head unit is the number of useful connections it provides.

It has a built in Parrot Bluetooth module which provides hands free calling, phone book transfer and a microphone for communication on the go.

Once your done with the important stuff you can kick back and relax and connect your iPod and enjoy your normal music, or there is a USB port or 3.5mm jack to connect with if an iPod isn’t quite your thing. Once connected the quick search function can be used to browse you iPod to find the music you want to listen to.

All the expected functions are there Shuffle, skip repeat, select by play list, artist, album, song. The display will detail the album, artist and song if the information is available. There is also an quick search facility to help you find what you are looking for.

If mega volume is your thing then the system can be fitted with a head unit power pack (KTP-445) easily installed behind the head unit. This upgrade will power up to 4 100watt speakers, double the previous maximum of 4 50watt speakers.
