iPod Car Accessories For Non-Stop Music Listening on the Go
Listening to your favourite music while driving is relaxing and what better way to do that other than through your iPod?
Your car doesn’t have an iPod dock?
You can easily solve this problem just by choosing the right iPod car adapter to use. There are several options out there and one of these will surely work for you.
If your car stereo has a line-in port, just jack your MP3 player into this hole and tune your stereo source to auxiliary. It’s that easy.
Check the back of your car’s CD player and see if it has an RCA jack then use an RCA compatible headphone cord (available at any electronics store) to connect your stereo and MP3 player. The red and white end of the cord goes into the stereo’s RCA jack and the other end into the player’s headphone jack.
If your car comes with a tape player, then you can use a cassette adapter. This iPod car adapter is one of the most commonly used. They are cheap and easily found in most stores. You can listen to good quality sounds by plugging one end of the adapter to your player’s headphone jack and the other into the tape deck.
The most convenient way of listening to your MP3 device through your vehicle’s stereo is by using a wireless FM transmitter. Just plug one into your player’s headphone. The problem is there tend to be interference in the transmission process in areas with crowded airwaves. Also the sound quality is quite poor with this type of iPod car adapter. If you decide to use an FM transmitter, better choose one that allows you to receive any FM frequency which gives you better chance of finding an open channel.
