Have you noticed how airline tickets can be very expensive? But do you know where and how they come to agree on the final price of the airline ticket?

There are a lot of ways that you could get cheaper tickets but this could mean buying tickets with multi stopovers and transfers. Booking months in advance or even just getting the lowest budget seats available could be another way to reduce the cost of the ticket.

It is true that not all the options are appealing ones, but once you have reached your destination you will be glad that it was a cheaper option.

Booking your flight well in advance is a good option and it also ensures that you do get a seat on the flight of your choice. If you choose to hold out for a cheaper seat you may miss out altogether and have to wait for another flight.

Booking early is also a good option especially if you are planning a vacation; it ensures that the flight that you require does not get booked up before you get the chance to buy a seat especially at such a busy time.

Occasionally you may find that airlines do offer a cheap seat option. This would only be if you were fling on your own, and it would probably be the seat next to the toilet block.

If you are not bothered about the luxury of business or first class travel it can be cheaper to go coach class.

Take a coach class and cheap seat option and you could save even more money on your ticket price.

Multi stopover flights may be a little cheaper but remember that you will be spending a lot more time at different airports. So if you do go for this option bring along something to occupy you in the airports.
