This is available for children and novices both as you can learn how to dig and how they are mined commercially. You need to be able to walk some uneven areas, but you can get to have your rock polished into a beautiful shiny stone and have it looked at by an expert in these matters. There’s also a cafe here onsite.

It’s possible to find these along with other attractions by looking at the local newspaper or online. A lot of the hotels have pamphlets about other attractions and you can look through those to find what is interesting to you.
