Apple iPad- is it too late?
Apple has known for its innovations in the entertainment centre and the iPad is the latest in this addition. This product will certainly be the device most tech enthusiasts have been waiting for some time. Unraveled by the company’s CEO Steve Jobs this tablet computer will sure be a challenge for all media companies. High resolution screen of 9.7 inches and using the same OS as the apple’s iPhone, the iPad holds promise to get entertainment and news to millions in a better manner than media companies.
All in the business had different views when this device was launched recently. Many professional are of the view that the iPad has too little to offer and with the generation of smart phones and digital readers many of the tech savvy individuals have already had their share of the features. With Dell, Intel and HP already out with their prototype tablet computers in the market Apple may have to start working on its marketing strategy in a way which makes Ipad a hit with ordinary consumers. But Steve Jobs is of the view that with this technology they will sure reach out to many people.
Meanwhile, this device will be available from March and you would have to pay $499 for a 16 GB model. This device will connect to the internet through a wireless network. 32 GB and 64 GB models are placed at $599 and $699 respectively. ipad with 3G cell phone connections would be available at higher cost and a 16 GB model will cost $699. Image rotation and GPS are other features that would be available with this portable device.
Whatever be the speculations Apple is confident of their new product and believes that the ipad will give you the best browsing experience and be the best way to get the print media into the digital world.
